    Hi
I'm a bit of a newbie on here, I've been using reason for a while and have dabbled with Ableton Live with mixed success.
I've recently downloaded some very good midi tracks off sunncity and have been amazed at the quality you get when converted to CD.
My problem is that I would like to retain that quality but be able to take off the melody, drums and/or keyboard parts, depending on wether my mate is available to sing and play guitar etc and to put it on mp3 or cd for playing through a P.A.
When I import the tracks into reason or Ableton they sound totally different due to me being not experienced enough to set the channels and instruments up properly.
Can someone help? I'm really excited (not sexually I would like to add!!!) about using these songs but have hit a big brick wall with how to use them.
