We're trying to expand our set and are thinking about doing some purely acoustic numbers. Any ideas, what does anoyone else do.

    Have a couple of ideas.

Knocking on Heavens Door - Dylan.
Time of you Life - Greenday.
    Patience - Guns N Roses.
    More Then Words - Extreme.
Only Wanna Be With You - Hootie.

Any suggestions as to what goes down well at gigs would be appreciated.

Losing My Religion (Guitar & Mandolin)
    Hide Your Love Away
    Mrs Robinson

    Just a few suggestions

if your after songs that lend themselves to acoustic performance then Satellite of Love is a workable option

Evanescence (Going Under, Haunted, Imaginary, Tourniquet) their acoustic versions are awesome if you've ever heard them.

Anything by Jars of Clay or Jennifer Knapp.
    Oh, and Skillet! They rock!

AWESOME BAND!!! I've met them twice this year and have seen them 3 times in concert.

We did the Heart version of Battle of Evermore, it was pretty cool
(our singer is amazing though....:) .

I don't know if your into instrumentals but we play "Classical Gas" sometimes (arranged the horn part for guitar). Seems like everyone has heard it but no body knows from where....:).
