hello everyone I use the program JAZZ++ to make midi files but I don't know how to articulations or controllers into my midi file in other words I do NOT know how to add echo effects or change the volume of a selected channel say for example I wanted to fade out at the end of a song I have no clue as to how to do this. so I was wonding if anyone can tell me how to add this because my midis really are not that interesting without them many thanks

I don't use this program, but the principle is much the same no matter what application you are using.

You need to embed commands in the midi stream to control volume, reverb, chrus, etc., etc. Whether or not these commands will have the desired effect depends entirely on the hardware or software which you are using o turn the midi data stream into sound.

An alternative method is render each midi track to audio and then use a multichannel audio mixer (either software or hardware) to add in FX and produce the final mix.
