    Hey I think Intel is much better, it brings you lots of options to use with different motherboards

    See ya

    the ten gig is probably an older much slower hd than our newer 7200 rpm hd's get a new one with an 8 mb cache.
    go to tcwo.com, they have great prices and top notch customer care.

    I've always had AMD... Always been reliable...
    Would assume that both are the same... Just different brands...
    Intel supposedly is more stable... But it's not as if my data is that important... :p

    I can't agree with that. AMD at a speed of 2.0GHz can out-perform an Intel CPU at 2.4GHz, and costs less.

    I totally agree with Zandro. My 1900+(@1.62GHz uber) easily outperforms my friends' 1.9 GHz P4 in virtually everything except internet:laugh: as he has broadband. And the effect is very noticeable in games.
    (Guys, it's a different story I've got 256 DDR, and he 256 SDR, but he has Radeon 9000, I've only G4ce 4 MX 420 DDR)

    EDIT: Do we know of any board that supports Dual AMD CPU's and is reasonably priced?

    hmm... I think AMD is faster in all aspects... faster processing, faster in graphics, faster time of expiration and faster time of burning... yeah, use it for more than 6 hours a day with no airconditioning whatsoever and it just dies out on you... unlike Intel which still lives through that kind of problem, but yeah, intel's slower I think, or so I experienced and yeah it costs a whole lot while AMD's are a way lot cheaper on my side of town and yeah, it'd be easier to replace since it is not too heavy on your pockets and when the new one's come otu you can easily shell out for them...;)

    yeah

    amd is not the best quality but for games ok.

    It is like

    Microsoft Windows -> Intel
    Linux -> AMD :)
