is there a program that will convert mp3 or wav to midi?
yes they are but from what i've heard they don't do a good job of it.
some of the other members know more about this than I do.
Goldwave is a good program for turning mp3 to wav....do a google search for "goldwave" I don't know the exact site. I don't know of any good prog to turn mp3 to midi. I'm not sure if it can even be done?
Just read this thread...i swear i just replied to something similar to this..lol
is there any other mp3 to wav converters that i can get for free?
when you convert mp3 to wav.. how do you make it monophonic and not stereo?
Re:mp3 to wav convertor
Do a search for cooledit2000 trial version, that converts mp3 to wav very good and vice versa.
does it turn the mp3 to wav and also monophonic and not stereo?
i want it to do this because digital ear requires monophonic and not stereo for wavs
if you have windows there is a program called sound recorder
you can change the wav that is in stereo into wav in mono
i believe non xp versions have this program, not sure about xp though.
for the best result I use LAME for mp3<=>wav
use SCMPX for WAV <-> MP3. Free, and very good quality.
