anyone have example on how they use the midi with a live 5 piece band?

    I always convert the midis to mp3 and play them up with a computer or mp3 player through the mixer. Works great, and we just play along. When playing with a drummer, percussion works good as clicktrack. Even a tambourine works if you have good monitors. My choice was to leave the noisy drummer at home =)

    i had each midi file set to an istrument (i think it was the lead guitar). as soon as the guitar hit its first note, the midi would start. Pretty easy!

    If you have a five piece band what would you want midi to play.... You could use it to keep everything very tight.... link it to your light show or computer contolled board or send programme/ setup changes to your keyboard in sinc etc...
