Well if there's one person out there who thinks that a bassist isn't a musician, there's got to be at least one who thinks a guitarist isn't either. Let's find out.
most guitarist are musicians, but put up your hand if you can read & write fluently, I repeat my joke....how many guitarist does it take to change a light blub Three , one to change it & 2 to watch & say " I CAN DO THAT"
haha i was gonna say, look at the results, doesn't it tell ya what we think if guitarists are musicians... but i rechecked it and only 8 ppl had voted.... still, 8 ppl agree with my opinion!
guitar players are definitely no musicians! Bus drivers can“t drive cars, women have a single nose, next president of US will be King Kong, days are nights and green is red.:boink:
i'd say most are, but there are some who just plain suck and only play for attention. they- are not musicians.
that seems like such a weird question. isnt a musician one who performs music? it doesnt matter if you compose it or not. or what insturment you play it on.
i agree with him on this... when you are playin for the attention then you arent much of a musician. sure, its nice but if thats the reason you picked up the guitar...
hey take it easy i can do both and i'm a guitarist but i've been playing piano for 11 years and guitar for 3 so its pretty easy to translate the skills needed across
Bass players play an instrument that is typically easier to play, depending on the type of music, but if the musician wants to explore it they can be amazing. Les Claypool, Flea, and Geddy Lee are great examples.
I play a guitar, but that don't make me a musician (just started 1 week ago) It's all relative, the guitarist is considered a musician if her/his playing skill reaches a certain level of professionalism. But wat's dat pro thing? Nobody knows for sure, just listen and decide.
