I'm one of the annoying people that play Guitar, Bass and Drums. I'm a bass player at heart though (since it was my first of these three instruments) and I play bass in a band.
'bartman882' is the anti-christ of spelling and grammar.

Every bass player should know how to play a little guitar
and should at least be aware of music theory
if they want to remain progressive Musicians
I hardly play the guitar now and concentrate on bass (which I play in a pub covers band).
Fave bass player is John Entwistle who I was lucky enough to see on his last UK tour at the Glasgow SEC, it was superb.
alright being as the the strings of the bass E A D G are the same as the lowest four strings of the guitar, then wouldn't a (good) guitar player be able to be a proficient bass player as well?
Although i could imagine it being a bit more difficult for a bass player to play guitar, I have a friend who, after TRYING to play the guitar saying, "That's why I play bass."
hmm... Just a thought.
