What happens if the MIDI file doesn't exist? Is anyone here willing to make it for some MB Cash? And if so, how much is reasonable? How long does it take to make a midi? :confused2

    i hate no name bands..

you'll never find their midis! damn underground!
When will they ever be big!?!?
All those big bands have midis as soon as their albums are out..
takes forever to make one of a band that came out years ago!

    Hi,

We keep a fairly huge directory of websites that host MIDI files at www.notation.com/MidiFiles.php They're categorized by style, instrument, etc. We also have a list of special search engines with links at www.notation.com/MIDI-Search.php

There used to be a lot of users on GeoCities websites that had a lot of great MIDI files, but alas most of them got dumped when Yahoo decided to cut the GeoCities out of their operations.

Hope the above is helpful if you're looking for specific MIDI files!

    ttfn,
    Sherry

Some "professional" MIDI files are almost impossible to find!
Here´s a song list I´ve been looking for years:
    COLIN HAY: Into My Life
DEPECHE MODE: Strange Love (not the poor version we can find anywhere)
DIO: Rainbow In The Dark (not the same version posted here)
FAITH NO MORE: Falling Into Pieces
    KISS: Hard Luck Woman
    KISS: Shandi
    NOEL: Silent Morning
    MR. BIG: Green-Tinted Sixties Mind
OZZY OSBOURNE: Mr. Crowley (not the poor version we can find anywhere)
THE RAMONES: Surfin´ Bird (not the poor version we can find anywhere)
    WHITESNAKE: The Deeper The Love
    WINGER: Miles Away

Hi, being totally new to this I am not sure if I have the right spot to ask this question.
    Any way here goes,
I have two QY300 sequencers, one I have had for years and the other recently purchased second hand .
I have a major problem in as much as the discs that come with these units when new have somehow grown feet and walked on me and I cannot find anyone locally who has them.
If there is anyone out there who has one of these units and still has the discs I would gladly pay to get a copy of them.
Yamaha really do not seem very interested having moved on to bigger things, but these are little gems for anyone putting music together or for just playing midi files as backing
my e-mail is johann-j@westnet.com.au so you can see I live down under.
Would be grateful for any help?
    John-L

Any questions should be asked in their own threads in the proper forum :)

I gave up on some of those sites (they all have the same tired midis) and tried getting professional midis. Being new to the forum I thought I'd add my fav site Hit Trax MIDI. There are others like Tran Trax and Hands-On but I like Hit Trax's service and big catalogue. Hope this helps anyone looking for good midis.
