The BEST guitar is whatever feels and sounds best TO YOU regardless of other people's opinions. Use your ears.

    Maton and Takamini for sure!

I have a shitty sounding cute little bright blue Ibinez but would much rather own one of these.

You're quite right jejune but it helps to hear others opinions as well. Someone in this board may just give you the incentive to try something different. I would never have bought my seagull if I hadn't listened to an opinion about it!!

I had a Samick 6 string acoustic with a cutaway. I slapped some medium Tomastik strings on it and I have never had a better feel on a guitar like it... Unfortunately it sounded very tinny and the neck was slightly twisted.... got rid of it because it wouldn't stay tuned up for more than 5 minutes

I have a Martin and a couple of Gibson's (a Dove and a custom Hummingbird the latter is one of my all-time faves ...just a beautiful and incredible sounding guitar) and this old custom Spanish made classical that rocks!

Played both Martins and Takamines. High end Martins have the edge. Ovations have a tendency to crack. The weather conditions where I live are pretty brutal.

    best guitar

I've used and abused a few acoustics over the yaers but the sweetest sound live has to be a LOWDEN. Hand made in Ireland. so if you don't have any Irish in you, do ya want some?

Gibson and Fenders all the way.
    Fav style is the Sg

I own 3 acoustics and 3 electrics. Acoustics are all fenders, the electrics are a Les paul and Sgs.

    i have a 25-year old Morris W713 and a Martin Dm.
Especially the Morris-guitar ( don't even know if they still make them) is a beauty.
