What do you think is the best midi to wav convertor that'll let you change the soundfonts for individual instruments and has really in-depth options?

Plenty, but none of them work, unless the WAV is monophonic. Do not waste your time or money; it is better to sequence the tracks yourself.

I agree with Zandro that Wav to midi converters are not very good unless a single note wav. Other way round I use Timidity+++ which is excellent conversion. I use it after seeing a recommendation at midibuddy.net!

    It's not exactly free - it's shareware with a $40 registration fee.

"Registered users receive a personal registration code which enables several of the program's advanced features, including:

    Stereo output
Output at 44100 and 48000 Hz sample rates
.WAV file output at 24- and 32-bit word sizes
Write support for SF2 and DLS formats
    No reminder box at startup
Your registration covers past, present, and future releases of Audio Compositor."

However, it's still very useful without registering (although I think it's a very good 40 bucks worth and was happy to pay for my copy).

wav to midi : never ! forget it! dont believe

midi to wav: you need a good wavetable from which the sounds can be taken. Or use virtual instruments in a sequencer software like cubase.

    quality costs.
