I was wondering what options there are out there for easy to use converters from .WAV to .MID I would only be using it for short ring tune conversion.

There is a ton of threads in this forum about this subject. However, let's go through it all - yet again.

If the file is monophonic, you have a fighting chance of coverting it to midi (although you'll need to convert it to .wav first).

If the original file is polyphonic - then you should give up now. It can't be done.

... and yes, I know you will find software which claims it can do it, but you can believe me and a thousand others, it doesn't work as claimed.

    Thanx!

I believe you have saved me a world of trouble looking for an answer. I think I can just bide my time and wait for the songs I want to become available ...

There is no such thing as WAV to MIDI...for songs with more than one instrment...because you won't get something good...
Try those programns only if you have a simple song with a single instrument
