Best programs for Web design

    dreamweaver mx + flash mx + fireworks mx + 3d swift + adobe photoshop + php with these tools you can create awesome websites.

    i also use Arachnophilia, i find it very easy to use if u know what ur doing, then again it has alot of help if u dont know anything :)

    Dreamweaver works the best if you ask me. I having been using 2004 for a few months and it works good for both WYSIWYG and a stand alone text editor (my prefered method).

    believe it or not i still use aolpress lol
    for the graphics i use paintshop pro, photo impact, ms paint
    and some other stuff.

    if i use php dreamweaver is the best
    for simple html design i use frontpage

    I want Dreamweaver SOOOOO bad but can't afford it so I use Frontpage 2000 blah.

    notepad, photoshop and flash do the trick for me ...

    For all the websites i have ever designed a good Text editor, Dreamweaver MX, And image ready do all the tricks.

    Another key thing for debuging PHP scripts(since thats what i program in) is a text editor that shows Line numbers... anyone know of a good one?

    I use CuteHTML for most of my website making. They make the HTML tags different colors than the other text which makes things easier for me

    Frontpage for the html stuff, Adobe photoshop or if you cant afford that, something like Paint shop pro and if you wanna really make a nice page, throw a little flash in if it fits

    Homestead's Online Designer was like a drag and drop version of frontpage (literally drag and it will be on that place on the screen)...whooo they used real advanced HTML+JS programming to make that work on a web browser!
    (www.homestead.com)

    I don't know if you can get it for free anymore though...I kinda left them after the became more of a profit making company (Started out for free)

    Now I use Frontpage 2003

    Me - I stick to Notepad, Flash, and Photoshop.

    I know how to do animations and basic controls in flash...anyone know somewhere where I can learn more of the programming?
    (Good, Free, Online Tutorial?)
