    Hi Guys and Gals,
What would you people say is the best sequencing software out there to use for someone that is just beginning to sequence. I am looking more toward "easy to use" as far as the software goes.

    -thx in advance

If you want something free and easy to use, try Anvil Studio. It's quite simple to get used to, if a bit irritating at first, but you can't do any good pitch bends or modulation effects unless you pay $20+ for add-ons.

Powertrax all the way. It so fast compared to Cakewalk, and lets you cut and paste blocks of midi tracks. If you do "use data filter" you can cut a whole song/section and re-paste it without all the crap that might cause you problems (sys-ex). Then you select the voices and hey presto!, save it as a PT project and it remembers all your settings, even what tracks are muted. Also it has a basic "drum grid editor", and an option to "fill track with drum backing" to give you a rhythm to get started with.
