Best software?

    ey guys, im really getting into the sequencing scene, wat software do you guys use?

    I use Cubase VST 5, trying to get my head round a few others like Fruity Loops and Reason, but not enough time in the day due to work!

    i use them all.i like to master a program.it's the challenge.cakewalk cubase logic audio..........it's endless.there are too many programs out there too choose from.'reason' is great for laying down drum trax quickly

    All the major softwares have much the same feature set - it's really only the interface between man and machine which is different.

    I suggest you download trial versions and see which one suits your way of working best. That will be the 'best' software for you.

    I've used Cakewalk almost exclusively for years, but a recent hardware change has meant I am now evaluating Sonar and CuBase SX. I lean towards the Sonar, because it's an easy change from Pro9, but SX has better intgration with the hardware - not an easy choice :) .
