I found this tune in Glenn Miller's Method for Orchestral Arranging (1943). It's an unusual swing tune with a recognizable and somewhat humorous theme. I sequenced it a year or two ago - it could still use some cleaning - especially the drums. Any drummers have suggestions for swing accompaniment? I wouldn't mind comment on the string bass also - I'm more used to filling in figured bass (as in Baroque) - not sure which bass figures sound "live" in a swing tune. Lastly, the piano part seems a bit busy, but plain old comping is too boring. Thanks in advance for comments!
