I have programmed a song in Cakewalk 9 (midi) that I want to record to audio and have found that the drum sounds in my korg module are getting a little dated? What I would ultimately like to do is use updated drum samples (does anyone have them too?) for drums instead of the module sounds. I dont know of a way to do this, or what program would I need to do it? Any help would be much appreciated!

ModPlug Tracker is a free program that allows you to open a MIDI file and swap the sounds it uses for WAV file samples. If you can get hold of some better drum samples, you can insert them into the song. Of course, you won't be able to save it as a MIDI again, as it now uses sampled audio, but you can save as a Tracker file.
