I want to clean some 1968 Ludwig Sky Blue Pearl finish drum shells.
They are real dingey and look like they haven't been cleaned since
1968 lol. Any suggestions as to what is good to use and protect this
    type of drum wrap?

mother's chrome polish. i use it on everything from chrome hardware to drum
wrap to glass, and it works very well.

I highly recommend Novus scratch remover/polish. This stuff does an incredible
    job.
