Thanks for the help^^
how do ya do that?
Is it possible to convert MP3 to midi?
no of course it aint: http://www.intelliscore.net/
mp3 is a wave format, midi is a kind of an algebraic desciption of music using tones, voices and so on. In order to convert mp3 to wave you have to do something similar to fourier transform... there are some tools doing this, try to google it (e.g. http://www.simtel.net/pub/pd/58334.html)
... but the quality is ... lousy (tried it myself). - you almost can't recognise the song.
all i can say is props to the peeps that go through all the trouble of makin these midi's for us....
It isn't very hard to make a midi though...The Kar. files may be different, but midi is easy...a little time consuming, but easy non the less...I tab music in midi, write music in midi...etc...it is easy, that is if you are using the correct software....PS....MP3 to MIDI is really horrid...terrible sounding when one is done...
tried intelliscore did not work.....
i tried to do it myself too. and i've tried many programs. it really doesn't work as good as if u actually made the midi file yourself. i think the reason behind it is the fact that all the converters do is play the song, and hear the pitches in tunes and crap. so it doesn't quite come out the way you want it to.
so how do you make midis...by ear or something? :|
i tried a program called Digital Ear once for wav-midi conversion... its crappy
Just search and download the midi file....its much easier!
or post your request!
i think you actually have to know sequencing to be able to this, there is no software solution...
I recently tried using software and it really is poor quality. It sounds like someone's been at a piano who's tone deaf, very angry and has an intent to play really unrecognisable music. Or something like that.
It sounds like S#!T
I mean... if you convert your mp3 to midi
MP3 to MIDI......Is possible....Get "Mobile Music Ployphonic"
$30 dollars to get the full version...Unless you know better...
