Hey, what do you guys find to be the best software for drum machine type functions - i.e. playing a rhythm style over and over until finished? The best hardware ones I've used include an "intro", "end", and "segue" button/pattern to give a more authentic feel than just hitting stop. I've been using Cakewalk for all my sequences, but for this it's a bit, er, amateurish.

    Whaddya think?

I've done through horrors trying to get decent drums but the best I've come across is fruity loops 4 but the programme is a bit fiddly but it has realistic sounds.

Reason. Fricken awesome program. Can't say much more than that. If you are looking for a stand-alone drum machine program, I don't know of any. Let me know if you find one.

Cubase is pretty good if you can get to grips with it.
