    i rekon duality or the god who failed are awesome, heavy riffs.
    but theres too many to choose a favourite.
    deep purple had quite a few good ones - burn, black night, smoke on the water.
    metallica have heaps too.
    and IRON MAIDEN! UP THE IRONS! YEAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

    The first solo from Lynyrd Skynyrds "That Smell" is a real caner. And the chordal riff from SRV - Cold Shot. Very cool

    OK - this is hardly "ROCK" but I love the riff from Rickie Lee Jones' Chuck E's In Love.

    Very Smooth
