    Hi All,
I've been looking for a MIDI keyboard I could connect to my computer and
sequence arrangements and record a vocal track on it. They all cost like
$200 or more, but I found one last night that has so many cool features that
I can't wait to get it. Too many to list, so check it out:

And, it's under $50. There's like 3 available under different listings.
Just thought I'd share that with you.

ps-you'll have to type in the last part of the url after ADM

It is not very functional, the controller lacks assignable wheels and
functions. MusicStar is an old system not really too functional any more.
    Don't waste your money.
Creative Labs has the Prodikey, which combines a QWERTY keyboard with a 37
key controller with assignable functions and wheels. It costs about $99 US
and comes with a creative sound card if your PC does not have one. And it
has a softare package that has some terrific composition and play along
    programs.
It all operates over the PS2 port so all you need do is install the
software, turn off the machine, plug in the Prodikey and restart.
When not using the piano keys, it has a soft cover that serves as a heelrest
    for your hands.
When in music mode, many of the QWERTY keys are used a midi function keys.
Really a neat idea--and a big space saver.

    Hi JB,
Thanks for the input, I really do appreciate it. My main issue is cost
and uncertanty. I'm not sure I have the skill and talent to learn to play
as I aspire. I figure for $25 + shipping I can have a unit I can learn on,
and if I suck at it, then my nephew gets a new "toy". Can you tell me where
I can find the Prodikey of which you speak ;o). Thanks again dude.
