Does Anybody know how 2 convert a fruity loops beats to a midi? When I go 2 export, midi, it just processes a blank midi? Anybody else have this problem?

fruity loops export midi only exports the midi from midi tracks, not tracks that use the other fruity loops plugins.

FL Studio, the new version of fruity loops, has a thing at
    tools>macros>prepare for midi export
that will convert all tracks to midi tracks, so that you can export them. You want to save before you do this, cause it ruins all your tracks, and you will want to revert back to the previous save.

There might be a way to get the old version to do the same thing, but I don' t know about that.

    Hope that helps.

"...You want to save before you do this, cause it ruins all your tracks, and you will want to revert back to the previous save. ..."

I know this is true when using the "send to piano roll" option, which would then convert the notes into intelligable MIDI, but what about say a track of only a snare drum? If you export it like that, how does it recognize that it's a snare and properly place in in it's GM place?

I can see how you could export to MIDI if you've already written in MIDI(also for those that don't know you need to specify working input/outputs in the MIDI options, that's been one cause of not saving correctly.), but as for exporting a functioning file with drums in it for example, I don't see how it could possibly calculate that.

++Also I'd almost forgot to add, I could see HOW it could be done(if you could assign each track to a group which FL would recognize), but as far as I know Fruity Loops has never had that programming =)
