This is the main theme from the Tim Allen movie "Galaxy Quest". Tell me what you think!
Nicely done, you might try chorusing the brass tracks (ctrl93) for a slightly fatter sound - not sure if it's what you're after. Did you sequence by ear or from the score?
I sequenced by ear. I'm not sure how it will sound with chorus, except for reverb I hardly use controllers. I'll try it though... thanks for your comment!
You've got good ears then! You're welcome, it's good to hear other folks' sequencing work. Another comment, you've got everything panned dead center (ctrl10,64) - you might try spreading the tracks across the stereo spectrum a bit, kind of like an orchestra is laid out - gives the sequence a bit move of a "live" sound.
First of all, thank you.
And yeah, I know... I'm never used panning very much... guess I will look at the order of an orchester, and use that to pan the instruments accordingly.
johnmedz , nope is a trashpost, I know this cause I couldn't find any controllers that said' nope' . Begone
thnx for the pm, Zel, and the good advice for Captain solo.
too short though. i want more!
you should make your own customized long version (like 6-10 mins!) that would really be cool!
Thanks for your appreciation, but no, I won't make a long version.
See, it's the TV-theme used in the movie, and a 10 minute TV-theme would take up half of an episode... and that wouldn't be too good, would it? NO, it would NOT!
well that explains it, i thought that it was supposed to be the theme as from the movie, not the tv show in the movie
still very nice, its true to the real thing.
that's cool lol
beautiful song, thanks
Thanx, I luv galaxy quest!
I am anxious to hear your galaxy quest sequence....
ACTUAL SCORE FOR GALAXY QUEST
Does anyone know where i could locate an actual SCORE for band for Galaxy Quest??
Ordinarily, I'd recommend J. W. Pepper, but I didn't find the Galaxy Quest score there.
A wonderful movie, and a wonderful sequence to complement it. Good job.
