anyone know of any guitarists who were/are gay?
Ummm... not really...
...ya' might wanna' start by looking into some rock bands, though. Queen and Judas Priest come to mind immediately... I do believe there was someone gay working with the Foo Fighters and Marylin Manson also The Frogs (I know the latter band has a gay guitarist for certain)... Blur, Morrissey, Gene, Gavin Friday... somebody there has gotta' be "flaming" I'm certain.
Brian May gay????
Somebody better tell his wife.
Yeah...and his girlfriend too
Elton John is gay, does he also play guitar? ;-)
elton john doesnt play the guitar!!! lol but does it really matter whether theyre gay or not!?!?
Nawww. Brian May isn't gay... not that being married to the opposite sex means you're not gay though... (one partner is just in denial :laugh2: ) I only remember Freddie Mercury being gay... and I don't even remember if that was accurate or merely assumed anybody keep up on such matters?
Actually, Freddie was Bi-sexual.
same thing.
Are you saying you approve of our mixing up our "*sexuals"?
Homo, Hetero, Metro, what's the difference?
Pass the Shiraz....
Am I not being a purist?
*dims the lights, lights some ylang ylang scented candles, straightens out the framed "Angel's in America" poster, puts on some Cher... grabs two wine glasses... and joins Zel on the velvet chaise lounge*
Hey y'all ! Franz Ferdinand's all gay if I'm not mistaken. It doesn't matter what your sexual orientation - it doesn't make you a bette ror worse guitarist. At the end of the day it's about talent and craftmanship ! How many openly gay singers are there - none really - since you don't ever hear a guy singing about being so in love with another guy and mornoic lesbian inuendo's by MAdonna and Kylie are not really homosexual at all. Although I do think that everybody should get a chance and be respected for being who they are. Goodness, can you just imagine a gay boyband popping up and crooning songs about their male preferences ? That'll be something.
