generic midi

    does anyone here know where i can download a player that plays midi and mp3?

    If it is to play either midi OR mp3, then most commonly found players like Windows Media Player, Winamp, etc... should do the job.

    But if you are talking about playing midi AND mp3 at the same time on a song, then I haven't seen that either!

    midi AND wave, yes, there are plenty of software around for that (cakewalk is one of that), meaning the MP3 has to be converted to a wave file.

    I use winamp 2.80. Try out any of the versions. (I don't like the 3.0 version though)

    Has anyone tried winamp 5? It's supposed to be much better than version 3.0

    I have. I still prefer Winamp 2.91, though. Yes, Winamp is the way to go with media players.

    Winamp is good and I use the version in Netscape 6.2 I think it is version 2.64 or 2.8, it does the job I think better than Windows Media Player and Nero or the Creative Live Hifi one.
