good midi maker program that's free

    does anyone know a good midi maker program that is free, because i live in sweden and paying over seas will be too expensive

    The problem with 'free' things is they are often free because they are not so good - sometimes it's better to bite the bullet and pay for something which has all the features you need and some professional support if you run into a problem.

    These days, many software programs are available for download. It makes no difference where you live, the cost is practically the same for everyone.

    One program the masses deem popular is the not-so-weak Anvil Studio. Everything needed to make a MIDI file is there, but if you need professional material, you'd better take Graeme's suggestion and look to save up a little money.

    Noteworthy Composer is what I use.
    The evaluation version isn't patched, and you cannot patch it, but its pretty good. The only problem with it is a limited 10 saves per file.

    I never understood how one makes MIDI's.

    Anvil Studio is what I use. It's simple and self explanatory.
