    Piano Man, by billy joel is a good one. but it might sound weird with no singing. i just know i love that song and it has cool piano in it.

    elton john has some piano stuff too u might want to look into.

    I was in your same position last year, the first song that i learnt and played was Vanessa Carltons 'Ordinary Day', its resonably easy but has some tricky parts near the chorus and stuff! So if your looking for songs like that, theres one u could start with! Hope I helped a bit!

    "miss u love" by silverchair. a simple 3 chords basic but yet the song was beautifully arranged and have nice melody as well.
