    computer jargon

frogg007 said that lame postings were called trashposting. I am wondering is there any other computer jargon that newbies should know about?

lol for anyone waiting for part three of the film and who is too lame to read the book (and thats very lame indeed yessiree) Frodo wins in the end and good triumphs over evil...but then that was to be expected...although another perspective is that the rings are the soul and the characters are pawns at the whim of the rings...they are in control all along.

i spy with my little eye another newbie off his post 'duck'...

*Shoots an arrow in Dr Ispy's general direction as a warning.*

I have been an aficionado of Tolkien's books since I was in the fifth grade. I had planned to make a movie myself but I'm glad that Peter Jackson beat me to it. Did you know that The Lord of the rings is NOT a Trilogy? It is actually one large book divided into three volumes. I've also read The Adventures of Tom Bombadil, and The Silmarillion(also known as The Quest for the Silmaril) I have yet to aquire my own copies of the latter two.

I already recommended a series in another forum for you. Check all your posts. Or mine if you wish. That way you'll find it. I hate having to post twice.

dang. I dint know anyone was still checkin this thread. I guess I kinda brought it back from the dead by posting here again. Yeah. I could write something to put here. That would be nice. I write best when I'm depressed. No lie.

Hrm, well then here's hoping your current inspiration is minimal ;).

I think I understand that. I've wondered whether I compose best under stress or not (as some composers seem to do). I don't think it's true for me, at least not as long as music is a hobby. I tend to write or compose best when my mind is clear.

I compose all the time..... but can only remember it to write down when my mind is clear of turmoil..... Some incredible work comes of pain, but is it worth the price? Work on the root of that depression now, write later! :)

A little psychology: Maslow's 'Hierarchy of Human Needs' (http://chiron.valdosta.edu/whuitt/col/regsys/maslow.html) tells us that many other 'needs' must be met in our lives before we are capable of making creative and productive effects on ourselves and environments. Its interesting reading if nothing else :)
