Do not use silly string around open flames - that stuff burns
like raw gasoline - no shit.

If we flip the phase on that mic, do we get less of him ?

    Label it "UnGuitar"...

Actually, I understand everything except the crazy glue between the
    velcros.

I use ca to glue the velcro to various items, such as my tuner
(which then sticks fabulously to my carpeted bass cab), and my mixer
and drive rack case (so the smallish, lightweight mixer will stay put
on top of the case). But I don't see a need to glue the sections of
velcro together. Velcro is used to hold aircraft fairings in place,
fer gosh sake. It's the sticky tape on the backside of the velcro
that don't hold too good, hence the use of ca.

And as to "crazy glue"... fuhgedaboudit! Get thee to a decent model
airplane hobby store and pick up a 1/4 oz container of Super Jet, or
Zap-A-Gap. More expensive than crazy glue but infinitely better.

OK, but I'm leaving the "Suck" button alone, being as it's Jeff's gig ;^)

Because it turned out that the velcros weren't strong enough to hold the wah in place, especially after repeated use.

So I just Crazy Glue'd them ..no wait a minute..

I didn't do it that way....I remember now.

What I did was Crazy Glue some velcro on all four corners of each of the pedals, and then just Crazy Glue'd the pedals with the
velcro on the bottom of them directly onto the surface of the pedalboard.

    That's it.

I just had a memory of all the model airplanes I used to build..that was fun stuff.

I have that show to run in November - the drummer (unschooled)
is a fantastic singer, but his technique - he beats the crap out of
his ride cymbal. Incessantly. There's so much bleed from that thing in
the other drum mikes, that I'm really considering doing that phase
thing - if I can mike it close enough, it may actually work...

That's when I use the Phase Shifter... See, there's a reason for all the
crap I have... I'm always fighting them sound guys!

Just saw the video is all, and let me start by saying that
nobody was hurt - but it was damn close.

Wedding party - much joy, lovely gathering, and all sitting at
a banquet table with candles. Wedding party suddenly quickdraws silly
string, like 15 cans of it, and open fire on the bride and groom. In
seconds the entire table and especially the happy couple are covered
    in silly string.

It gets ignited by a candle. FOOOOM !

Somehow the stuff fell harmlessly onto the table and consumed
itself without further horror aside from an adrenaline rush second to
none - it was SO close to being a horrible accident. There were four
foot blue-white flames coming off the web of silly string, amazing
that nobody's clothes, skin, etc caught fire. Terrifying, and I may be
cautious, but I like an adventure as much as anyone. That stuff just
    can't be used around flames.

It is ideal for writing dirty words high on the sides of
    houses, though.

    [...story...]

Wow. I'm sure the bride wouldn't have appreciated, say, losing all of
    her hair.

And then lighting on fire? Oh behave!

Well my Canare cables with G&H ends came today and I'm real pleased as
these are pro quality cables for sure. I found someone to make them
up to my specs and the cost was reasonable to me. I'm glad I didn't
go the George L route after all. I believe I'm set for years to come.

I would have felt really guilty if you thought those cables sucked! ;-)
