    Hey,

I'm wondering if it's possible to remove the beat from a song, and leave just the vocals? I'd really like to have the accapella to this song but it was never released, so that's why I'd like to do this.

If it's possible can somebody tell me what program I need, then give me a small walk-through of how to do it.

    Thanks,
    RJS.

I asked this question before and the people here answered that it is impossible to do it without the master. If you want to read the thread you can go here:

If you really want to do it. You can use like a 32 band eq and remove most of the back ground music. I have done this to sample voices. It removes enough of it that I can sample the voice for rap music, but thats about all.
