Just a little volume assistance. I've merged the intro from a professional file (which is way better than the original) onto that original and there is a volume difference when the main bass drums etc comes in. Could someone tweak it for me so it's all the same.

I like the following settings if you can oblige, if not I can mix it myself on my keyboard.

Bass and drum track - vol 127

    Piano - vol 115

    Remainder - 80

    Thanks in advance.

This kinda what you're after, Ronny?

I had to use WinJammer shareware here at work, so it overwrote the tracks names :(.

If it needs more tweaking, feel free to say so...

Just what the Doctor ordered. I need to hear it through my pa before I do the final tweaks ready for live useage and take the guitar parts out when I've learned them.

    You're a star, thanks.

By the way what programme did you use? My two main progs don't have the ability to change volumes during the song. :fart: :withstupi :stick:

    Great, glad to help ;).

I used WinJammer Shareware - just a shareware sequencer like Cakewalk with not quite the functionality, but accessible here at work :). It has some nice global event transformations that are super handy for stuff like adjusting note velocities, durations, etc.

For the trick, I scaled all the velocities to a 127 max, so some of them may still be on the low side. I didn't want to just destroy the inherent volume scaling of the original sequencer(s), so that seemed the least intrusive approach.

    Good luck with it!

I'd think setting the volume controller (7) for each track to balance the sound might work. The only way I know to do this is by ear using trial and error. Hope that helps. :)
