Reload the page that the file is on, right click on the link, select 'save target as'. Open the file on your computer in a different program (windows media player, for example)

Well, the downloadable files on the site are in .php format...

can't they be played in REALplayer?
I haven't tried, since I do not use REALplayer... but I do know, that REALplayer can play almost all the formats that Windows Media Player supports... even .wma files...

(Hey, this, my post, is post number 5000 in this forum! :D )

Well, you don't have to start playing the smart-ass game... I'm trying to help you with your problem...

I don't know if you've deserved this (;)), but if you try to rename your downloaded file from .php to .mid ... then it is a MIDI, and can be played in any player...

    Hope that helped you...

    It didn't work?

hmm... then I have no idea of what it could be...:(

But why don't you just download Windows Media Player for playing the files that you download here?

Windows Media Player 9 does require that you run Windows 98 SE or newer, though...

But it would solve your problem... ;)

Though, you should still remember to rename the file, just to be sure...

double check..... bring up your volume controls and choose "advanced controls" from the "File" menu.... check to see that the MIDI volume isn't muted or turned the whole way down... In some older gaming software when you mute the sounds you mute the MIDI and it doesn't reset.
