Hi hat stand recommendations?

  1. Hi all,

Looking for a well priced, great feeling hi hat stand. Looking for one with
the smoothest action, most dependable, easily adjusted, etc etc... all that.

    Opinions?
    Thanks!

IMHO, Tama or DW make the smoothest Hi-Hats. I have never used a Pearl
Hi-Hat, so I can not give an opinion about them. Though they do make nice
kick pedals. I really like my IC's, but I give DW the close second.

    Good luck

My all-time fave is the Tama Iron Cobra Lever Glide. Smooth as can be with
tons of adjustability and a great design.

I'm still kicking myself for selling mine to get a <GASP!> Janus combo pedal
    (which I actually kinda like...)

  6. Why the original, and not the IC version? What's the difference?
