How can I make a karaoke file?

    I don't have a clue how to make a karaoke file? Do I need a specific program or something?

    i edit midi files with fuity loops you could import the midi files view each instrument note for a note in a pattern. Lower the keys tempo change instruments or you could start from scratch and build your own. Fruity loops is awesome.

    There is a plug-in for media player which will let you add subtitles to video's or songs (can't remember the name). You can add or edit the text by hand on the right position.

    midi loops dont work for me does anyone know a good program to make midi files as would like to try this out

    Kar files are just midi files with words added. I've used Karaken for a while to add lyrics, but I can't seem to find it on google to download for new users. There are alternatives but Karaken was free!
    From my experience the hardest part of making kar files is finding the midi's in the first place
