How does everyone go about searching for MIDI files...

    I tend to use Yahoo, and just try not to be too specific... using qoutes helps but not always. Actually I use yahoo for just about every type of search.

    I like Google for all my searches. I use quotes if I want more than one phrase to be searched but if it's only one phrase, then I believe Google's default is to seach the terms as a continuous string first anyway.

    google's pretty reliable but i also use musicrobot.com

    I use Google to search for midis but still it is difficult so i'd like to thank all you guys for all the help I've recieved over the time i've been here. I think you guys are great with all the sharing you do. I find it difficult to find the time to continue searching and i have to admire the time you all put in. Thanks;) :thumbsup:

    Another excllent source for midi files is www.musicrobot.com . Just type in either the name of the song or the artist and it gives you heaps of results. Sometimes hundreds for the one song. You can also then sort the rezults by size, to make it easier to pick the most complex files.
