I have it on another partition of my harddrive and it's pretty cool. It's got a nifty side bar with WMP and a clock and other stuff and had a nice color scheme. It also has a popup blocker built into IE so thats a welcome feature. However, at the moment XP is better because it is actually a full version of an OS, while Longhorn is just a leaked beta with many bugs.

I thought Longhorn was not available yet? Still not very au fait with Win XP and I don't particularly like it, Win 2000 is Ok and feels very similar to Win 98.

    I've got build 4051, it's pretty nice!

Plus one of you guys said it's not a full version and it has many bugs...not 4051!
Yeah, it's got bugs, but nothing big and there are so few...it's not even a problem and you may think it's not a full OS; it is!
Longhorn is actually built off of XP, so it's like XP with stuff added and changed!

I actually have no horns at all, forget long ones.
On a more serious note, where can you get the leaked beta?

Longhorn is not a beta. It is far from a beta.

It is in the earliest development stages, known as the alpha stages.

So it would be Longhorn build 4051 alpha that someone might have.

A program's development cycle is roughly:

Prototype, Alpha, Beta, Release Candidates, Gold/RTM (Release to Manufacturing)

I wouldn't really trust a OS in alpha stages.

If I had it and had a spare computer to run it on, I would.

It would be fun to check out an OS in the making.

I agree there. I don't have Longhorn, but it would be fun to play with on a spare machine.

Nope - I haven't bothered with Longhorn yet - I tried it awhile back, but it wasn't stable.

It may be just me, but XP made me hate Microsoft software, but I may have to get a copy of longhorn...
