how to merge 2 midis

    anyone know a god (& easy to use) appz to merge 2 midi in 1?

    yes, magix music midi studio, very easy to use. But do not ask me, where you can get this, except in a store near you.
    With this prog, you just need to load the files and then you can copy the "layers".

    To Properly merge two or more midi of audio files (yes you can put the two together) you should use a more powerful sequencer. I like Cakewalk Sonar, but even the cheap Music Creator Version will do what your talking about easily.

    cakewalk 2000 Home STudio is the best midi program i've used (and i've used a lot). Load the 2 midis, cut one and paste it into the other. its that simple.

    A lot of software programs will allow you to do this and even some sequencers but you will need to be plan a bit with what midi channels are playing what instrument.... otherwise it'll become a complete stuffup... unless programme changes automatically change your instrument voices.... :mad:

    Does Cubase merge the midis? I haven't needed to do any merging yet. I think it should be relatively easy to do. (I hope).
