how to play your midi keyboard to your pc

    can sum1 please help me figure out how to play the original sounds of your keyboard to your pc? cuzz i have nooo idea..i knoe how to play my keyboard to my pc playing the sounds that my pc gives me...but is it possible to play the sounds that my keyboard gives me to be played to my pc?

    The answer in short is no. The keyboard transmits info to the pc as a midi signal which is basically how hard you hit the note, what note it is and how long you play it for, along with any info like pitch bending. This info is stored in your music software which you manipulate and then play back through a sound card or you keyboard and it triggers a sound in the chip to play it for you.
