    Hi,

I bought a uses lexicon 300 L, and it is full of preset of the previous
    owner.
How can I reset the 300 to facory default, so that I clear all those presets
    ?

    thanks ! John
  2. I don't think you can, except by removing and reinserting the RAM chip
(U21). I wouldn't advise this unless you are fairly confident you won't
damage anything. Better perhaps to spend a few minutes pressing buttons.

    Gareth.

I think you can just overwrite them with you new presets for those that
are in user menory. The factory presets are in EPROM and can not be
erased by the user. (unless you remove and erase the eprom)

  4. To clarify, there will always be 100 factory presets, it's the 50 user
registers you can alter or erase by removing the RAM.
