    Chinese or Indian takeaway, movie and then put some nice massage oils to use :)

    Um...how about a getaway to a nice hotel? One with a hot tub, and a large vibrating bed.... :D

    Uh-huh. ;)

    I prefer to think of every day as a bit of Valentine's day/Christmas/birthday/what have you. Gifts mean so much more when they are for no particular reason and for no particular occasion. I think of that as romantic, but I guess some folks might differ. Anyway, my wife and I spurn most "commercial" holidays, so our Valentine's day happened last week, last month, etc. ;)

    Now, as for ideas for spending romantic time together, that's something else :). I quite liked Si's idea - another might be a winter walk on the beach together, one of my wife's favorites. No one around to bother us.... :smart:

    here here to that, Zel! I totally agree. I like surprising my fianceé on any day of the week/month etc. It helps keep the romance alive and that can only be healthy :)
