I'm a huge musicfan and always try to find new artist and bands. Now if you were to recommend me and everyone else here ONE band/artist only (superstar or not so wellknown) who would you recommend and why?

Please try to provide a little more info then just saying "Linkin Park". Post genre, tune you recommend or other info. :)

    Now for mine...

I'd recommend listening to "Funeral for a friend". Their song "Bullet Theory" is absolutely smashing and makes me want to go into "anarchy mode"

I'd place them in the same genre as POD, Linkin Park (not so much turntable stuff though) and Thrice. I guess it some kind of college-punk-alternative :p

I'd like to recommend two bands, I know you said one, but anyway:
Evanescence, because they rock! Their music is like dark epic, some say gothic rock/ metal...different opinions on their style...

    second, HIM:
A metal band from Finland, their songs are dark love songs and metal music..

    Both bands are great :)

If you like them you will probably really like the dutch(?) goth group "Within Temptation" too.

I would say Disturbed a nu metal band i fell in love with the first time i heard them..the vocalist has deep voice and they've awesome guitars and drums. They do swear but most of their lyrics are pretty general and i always find ways to relate to myself.

Another is none other than Linkin Park also a metal band..i love their lyrics and their music just kicks @$$

    Depends what your into.

I would defineatly recommend a band called Coheed & Cambria, all their stuff is cool, but check out "Devil in New Jersey"

They are a rock(y) band with a hint of Emo. Very underrated.

I'd like to see how other people rate them. I love them but music is very personal, you may think they are the shi**est thing you've ever heard.

Let me know what you think.

Usher. He's got the voice, the lyrics, the beats, and the moves. An all around entertainer. His concerts are simply amazing.

I'e only really heard one tune by Coheed and Cambria and it's "A Favor House Atlantic", but that one is really good :)

Haven't been able to find anything by Devil in New Jersey in the local musicshops, but I guess I have to get my knees dirty and do some peer to peer searching ;)

    I'd have to say Yellowcard.

Emo/Punk with a violin. It makes them sound awesome. Check out:

    Way Away
    Star Struck
    Ocean Avenue

I'd going to a Yellowcard concert on the 29th(Jan)!

I would recommend Evanescence of course... more appropriately, Amy Lee, who wrote the lyrics and most of the music for their songs. I think she, as well as the rest of the band, will go quite far in their careers.
