kar files - can they be edited???

    Can anyone tell me if i can edit kar files in cubase. I am quite new to this side of music, and do not understand what to do with them. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

    kar to midi

    I've tried opening thew file in cubase but nothing happens. anyone got any suggestions as to where I am going wrong

    if you have a media player open...cubase won't work. You need to close down your media player first, then you can import your midi file into cubase

    If you want to open it in Cubase you have to rename the extension ti MID then you can open it in Cubase
