I've been using Meaya which has been working pretty well, so far. I'm gonna try SpyBot, just to be safe though. ;) Thanks for the link!

I used to use edonkey for file sharing but I switched to emule. It's a little slower at first, but my Adaware hasn't found any spyware in it nor has my virus scanner picked up any little "packages" either. :)

    i use AVG ...
    and Ad-Aware 6 ...

For some reason , AD-Aware freezes at a certain point and i have to abort or close it , i do have bugs but when i click abort and i go the window that shows me the bugs , i don't see anything and if i right click and try to select all objects to delete them , i doesn't because there is nothing ...

Reinstalled it ... and does the exact same thing :(

What Operating system are you running?
Have you tried to grab a fresh install file?
Uninstall it and try a fresh install. Update it and see if that works.

If not, you can try Spybot Search & Destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org
Or try to find someone who has another version (not v6) of AdAware

I use spybot search and destroy which is free and excellent. Also a very good website to give you history and list of different spyware and adware is this one:-

I see that the RIAA has put over 100,000 currupt songs on servers for other to download. That is messing everything up

They've been doing this for quite some time now... There are also files that contain viruses being intentionally released too. Seems like a good idea to combat one illegal activity with another, right?

If I were the recording artists these agencies are alledging to represent, I'm not sure I would like intentionally screwed up, or low-quality versions of my music being released.
I think it would leave an overall bad impression of my creative works, knowing that many people download other songs (that aren't on the radio) from a CD they're thinking of buying to make sure there is more than just 1 or 2 good tunes on it.

Unfortunately, the big, big, all-powerful agencies haven't shown a good record of ever giving a rip about the artists.
For them it's always been all about that brand-new, shiny Bentley they somehow believe they're entitled to buy themselves every year.

Good to see the discussion escalating, Copyright ha no future in protecting Artists, it was probably never really meant for that purpose, at the moment it's only use is in Court cases, look for the biggest fish, and try suing for breach of Copyright.

I dunno about Emule. it seems safe enough, but it may be risky. depends on what server you get. OVERNET is different though and doesn't use servers. so is it really clean?? if not, just stick to direct connect my friends;)

The RIAA can go strait to hell
