Just officially installed BitTorrent for my comp, and am more than amazed how much stuff is actually available. If only I could get DrNaSp in English... not French or German!

Oh i hear ya loud and clear..i too use dial-up at home and it's really irritating...when i used kazaa lite i got speed only up to 3 or if i'm lucky 4 kb/sec...but then when i used shareaza it flew up to 40kb/sec...of course there were over 100 sources but still it's better than kazaa lite

I completly understand. I consider myself fortunate to get to 4 KB/S.

I'm beyond blessed if I even come close to 4 kb/sec. I'm usually in the decimial places. :(

    oh dear!

u should try shareaza then..even with dial-up i get an average of 8kb/sec...esp with popular songs there are more sources but it's still not as bad as kazaa, although sometimes kazaa seems to host more rare files

Limewire is good. I use it and more often than not the download works great. I think it's better than kazaa. oh and no stupid ads either

Hey, I can't get Ares to connect. I've checked everything, I think. Can someone let me know if they are having the same problem.

Why do you need Ares in particular? Try another client, or even another network.
