Making MIDI's

    whats the process of making a MIDI file, is there any way to convert mp3's or wav's to MIDI, I'm assuming you can't do that, so how are they made

    Noteworthy Composer is a great simple program to create midi's, but you have to be musically inclined (able to compose, read music), but that was 5 years ago and haven't worked with it in awhile! :)

    Are there any good programs that i can download that converts song files to midi? Can you even convert files like that?

    I've got a program called cool edit pro. That might work?

    Cool Edit can use MIDI files as backing tracks, but is not a MIDI sequencer.

    is there any way to make voice midi(ringtones) from any mp3?

    Not really. It is not worth the effort with the mediocre programs available today. Even the best program on the market is disappointing.
