MIDI files with lyrics are usually with a .KAR extension and known as Karaoke files. Hope that helps.

some people add the lyrics themselves, but do not change it to a KAR file. all you need is anvil studio, and the lyrics, and you can just copy and paste them

Hi, I'm new here & really don't know too much about midi's yet, but this is interesting, how exactly are the lyrics displayed in a .kar?
Being kar. (Karaoke), does that mean somehow the display distinguishes/identifies the word that should be said at that time? Or is it just plain text of the lyrics along with the midi?
