I have never played a keyboard or had anything to do with Midi before so I
    am completly new to this.

I have a Casio WK1300 Keyboard and I have tried to set it up to my PC via
the sound cards Midi/Game port, but I can't get it to work.

I have tried it with 2 diffferent sound cards a Sonic Fury card & a Sonic
Explosion card, but nothing seems to work.

I can't get the Keyboard to send to the PC or from PC to keyboard.

The software even finds the midi port so all the help files havn't helped as
the don't tell you what to do if the software rexcognised the port.

I have had this keyboard for several months now and I admit I am getting fed
up of it, and I am beging to wish I hadn't bothered.

What program are you running that you would expect to receive/send
    midi?

I have 2 pieces of software............

I have the software that came from Technote with the Midi lead

    MAGIX Music Studio V 2000

& to try and terach me how to use the keyboard

    Keyboard Coach,

    Neither work.

IO even tried Direct X sound check to send to the external Midi port, and
got nothing through, Don't know if it was supposed to though.

I am new to this Midi stuff.
