No I'm not requesting anything illegal. I was just wondering, sometimes in cracks or keygens or whatever they have a really catchy midi tune in it. I keep it open while i do other stuff just soi can listen to it. I tried extracting it using resource hacker or pe explorer buti cant get anything out. I'd really like to know how to do it.:(

Some cracks contain a MIDI, some contain a Commodore SID. Either way, usually, the programs are made in Delphi C/C++ or Visual Basic, and are easily read by some programs. To retrieve the music requires a disassembler most of the time. Sometimes, just a Portable EXE analyser will do. If I were to use a program (instead of raw hexadecimal extraction), the analyzer I'd use would have to be PE Explorer, from HeavenTools. Look them up at www.heaventools.com, or send the crack to me so that I might do it right for you.
