Just a thought. What about a competition for all those midifile programmers out there.varying 'cash' incentive of course, say for closest sounding file, best interpretation, good effort, etc. Say we get someone to submit a song, something relatively easy, and set a time limit for posting midi entries. If it's been done, or being done, no worries, but it doesn't hurt to have a bit of competitiveness out there, and who knows, there might be midfile writers out there who didn't know they had it in 'em.
I know, it's just another gratuitous way to make cash!!:)

I think thats a great idea!

Should do it for new songs though.

MB cash incentives would really get things going around here.

An idea for another category- best backing file(as in drum and bass, for all the solo or dou artists who couldn't be bothered or don't have the talent to put in guitars and fiddly bits)

Good idea voice of god. there's probably a lot of categories that could be created to suit other members, so anyone reading this forum, see what they can come up with. Soon I shall have my own avatar and be one with the others.

    I think it's a great idea....
there are times that you *HAVE* to sequence a song....so why not get an incentive for doing...and why not make it fun.

    but isn't always fun :)???

What's the best way to get this happening? is there another section where the posting would get more views? I'm still getting used to this forum(and having fun doing so may I add)
